The partnership marks the start of a new era for the Athertons, recognised around the world as the fastest family on two wheels. Between them they already hold 7 World Championships, 43 World Cups and 16 UK National titles.
The 2017 team will also include 16 year–old Kade Edwards, a graduate of the Atherton Academy and Graeme Mudd a 23 year old Aussie rider who won Australian National series titles in 2014/15 and 2015/6.
Trek already have a successful road team and on the MTB side the Downhill team join a star-studded group of awesome riders across the cross-country team, Enduro team and C3 Project.
With Trek’s expert backing, their resources and commitment to developing the world’s fastest race bikes the Downhill riders are confident that there are many more victories to come.
